Privacy notice
1. The controller

2. What we process, and why
a) The contact and "Get started" forms
What you provide: name, company, e-mail and/or phone number, LinkedIn profile (if given), and your answers about the engagement and the project. Purpose: answering your inquiry and taking pre-contractual steps. Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract at your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); for optional fields, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Storage: in the controller's own systems operated in the EU — no external CRM or mailing provider. Retention: until the inquiry is closed, and no longer than 24 months if no engagement follows; if a contract is concluded, per contractual and accounting rules. The anti-bot check (proof-of-work) runs locally and sends nothing to third parties.
b) Server logs
Our servers keep technical logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser identifier). Purpose: operational security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). Retention: up to 90 days, or as long as needed to investigate a security incident.
c) Analytics — without cookies
We use self-hosted, open-source Plausible analytics on the controller's own EU infrastructure. It sets no cookies, builds no persistent individual identifier, and does not track you across sites — it produces aggregate statistics only (page views, country, referrer). Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). Nothing is shared with third parties.
d) What we do not do
No advertising or tracking cookies. No remarketing. No transfers to third countries, and no processors outside the European Union (including no US processors) — your form data and the logs stay in the controller's own EU-operated systems. We send newsletters only on an explicit, separate opt-in (no such sign-up currently exists on this site).
3. Processors
The site and the systems behind it run on the controller's own infrastructure (ATAILA Cloud); no external hosting, analytics or form provider is involved. Should a processor ever become necessary, this notice will be updated in advance.
4. Your rights
You may request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and request data portability (GDPR Arts. 15–21). We respond without undue delay and within one month at the latest. Contact: the contact form.
You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian supervisory authority (NAIH, naih.hu) or turn to the courts.

The app.ataila.eu customer portal operates under its own terms published there after sign-in; this notice covers the public pages of www.ataila.eu.
